The Jingle Bell Ball is a big deal for Captial Radio and fans of the stations music, as the radio station hosts a melée of stars and presents a weekend long party at Wembley Stadium.

This campaign consisted of a variety of printed and online media with creative required to show off the stella line up to wow the fans with impact and colour that would translate across all facets of exposure.

Working closely with the projects creative director, initial creative was approved with the client and then adapted to suit different assets, ranging from large scale posters and digital screens, through to tickets and online banners – all of which had to maintain the style of the event.

Artwork was refined and separated into working elements and so easily adjusted in application, making the production of the numerous pieces of collateral much more efficient.

Specific areas were highlighted by the client which also posed a variety of issues; creative had to retain the visual impact from the original christmas tree creative, the visibility of the brand lock-up and sponsor needed to be strong across all assets as well as the prominence of performers names where appropriate to maximize their popularity.

To overcome potential issue with the campaigns integrity, slight variations were utilised to retain the all important identity; specific elements of the original creative were adapted – the star and tree and the placement of the lock up were kept consistent and developed as focal points  to provide solutions that the client was satisfied with.
