The Brief

Working as part of the Hotel Chocolat in-house creative team, we were responsible for the creation and production of all packaging design and artwork for the brand.

This particular project demonstrates packaging for the Easter campaign which encompassed a range of creative for different demographics.

The Solution

Liaising directly with the product development and marketing teams, the studio was given guidance in regards to the target markets of the products, which lead the creative application.

After initial scamping phase, artwork was applied to working prototypes for approval.

At this stage, all creatives were converted into master artwork assets, with applicable swatches and finishes, to ensure consistency in application across the whole campaign.

Output consistency issues were the biggest pitfall, due to the sue of different suppliers for different packaging.

To combat these discrepancies, colour proofs and a strong line of communication between the studio and the print suppliers aided the production of the files, allowing the studio to apply amends with minimal effect on the campaigns integrity.

Steady, thought out process help provided a high quality result for the Hotel Chocolat brand and vibrant Easter creative.
